John Fitzgerald made an excellent documentary (The Emerald Diamond) about baseball in Ireland a few years back, and now he’s helping to build a baseball diamond in County Meath. The foundation is asking for tiny donations of $1-$5 (or whatever your nation’s currency is), which is so ridiculously affordable.
If, for some reason, you don’t care about baseball, I know several of you would part with a buck or two just because Irish accents are so wonderful. Do it for the accents.
